Band News!!!

 

2/9/05-we havent had a news update for awhile so i (joe) figured ill fill you folks in on what we've been doing. As far a shirts and what-nots thats all still up in the air, they'll be here slowly but surly. The show at theRave went very smooth, we thought we played a pretty decent show and we met a lot of cool bands, we'll get some pictures up soon hopefully. We've also been throwing around the idea of trying to get at spot at Summerfest, as soon as one of us gets off our lazy ass to look into it we'll let u peoples know what we're doing. One more thing, we gots a show coming up on feb.19 its a saturday, we're playing with Profane and Sgt Discharge, so u should all go to that even if your underaged.

10/14/04- PAWN is looking for street team members ! If anyone has expierience with making flyers, burning demos or has great connections with area venues, Pawn would like you to E-mail the band ASAP at pawnband@hotmail.com.  Basicly you will be mailed-flyers,shirts,demos,ect- to give out and advertise for shows.  Anyone can help us too no matter where you're from.  Your help will not be in vain. by doing this for us we will give you free merch like our CD's and shirts      THANK YOU.

9/19/04 - We've just completed our demo after along weekend in simple studios and its now available to you upon request, or you can pick one up at any of our upcoming shows, also request our new music on razor947, your support would be greatly appreciated.

8/26/04 - P.A.W.N. would like to give props  to everyone who made it out to the Battle of the Bands yesterday. With the fans help we were able to put on an amazing performance that really stole the show. We couldn't have done it with out you guys. Thanks :) Make sure to check us out on the 5th at the Manitowoc Music Festival. It should be a great show considering the pro sound system that we get to use. Hope to see you there.

8/07/04 - Today we have taken steps to deal with the ongoing sound problems that we have been dealing with. Billy decided to invest his money into a P.A. system that would fit P.A.W.N. He put money down on two JBL MP255S model bass bottoms. Each cabinet consists of dual 15 inch band-pass subwoofers. We feel with this new equipment, P.A.W.N. is taking a step closer to having a sound system that will beable to handle the abuse and deliver the sound quality that the band expects from a P.A. system.        hehe...  Joe likes to ride them!!!

8/01/04 - We have just learned that the show in Manty on Aug. 25 at Washington Park will be a Battle of the Bands. So you should come and support us as we try to win this Battle. Along with are fans help I believe that we have an excellent chance on taking this Battle. Hope to see you there!!!

7/29/04 - We have just recieved are promo shots that we had taken by Color Blind Studio's. They are every thing we hoped for and more. They really turned out breathtaking! Feel free to check them out and tell us what you think on the Color Blind Studio's link.

!!!New P.A.W.N. Shirts!!! are now in the process of being made, we're not sure when they'll be done so check back everyday.

COLORBLIND photo studios will be working on promotion pictures for P.A.W.N....they will be coming soon. If you need any kind of pictures taken they are very creative people. They are willing to do whatever to get the best results and unique photos. There # is 553-2219.

As of now we're trying to put a demo together, we have a few recorders we're working with. Right now we have St. Emmys Day and friENDs recorded. We'll bring them to shows and make them available as soon as possible.
